To List or Not to List?

Are your prices public for everyone to see? Shooot, they better be!

Have you ever gone to someone’s website and had to wait for them to contact you back just to figure out how much they charge?? Yeah, no thanks...

If you’re hesitant to show your prices online, check out these common myths & why they’re actually nothing to worry about.

MYTH: My prices might scare customers away.

FACT: This could be a couple of things... Either your prices are too high for the value you’re actually providing (or) they aren’t the right customer for you!! Not everyone’s services will fit into everyone’s budget - but make sure that your providing real VALUE to all of your customers.

MYTH: My competition will use it against me.

FACT: If you focus on things you can’t control, you’ll never be able to grow your business. Part of the value people pay for is the experience to work with YOU! Even if your competitor undercuts you, they could never duplicate the experience and value you provide.

MYTH: I can’t because my prices vary.

FACT: You don’t have to give the exact price for every offer. Say “Starting at” to give potential customers an idea of what they may need to budget for. You can even add a note that prices are subject to change based on customer needs.

MYTH: It draws more interest if my prices aren’t listed.

FACT: It’s actually super inconvenient and often annoying. Just because someone contacts you doesn’t mean they’re a qualified lead! Save yourself and your customers time... Not listing your prices can actually look like you’re hiding something and deter potential sales.
